In this course, you will learn the fundamentals of music theory, rhythm, major scales, major chords and begin to sight read. You will also have weekly online assignments to help you along the way. Once you have mastered the major scales and chords, we will learn minor scales and minor chords. We will continue sight reading and learning songs. This course teaches all of the standard chord progressions used in all of your favorite songs. Once you have this foundation, you'll be able to play most songs with ease. We will also learn and perform your favorite songs or songs that intrigue you the most.
